Visual Identity For DISTRIBUTECH International 2022
Event Design | Storyboarding
CLIENT
Energy, Resources & Industrials is a Deloitte practice that provides integrated solutions across the Oil, Gas & Chemicals; Power, Utilities & Renewables; and Industrial Products & Construction sectors.
BRIEF
As the sole designer on the project, I developed branded visuals for Deloitte’s presence at DISTRIBUTECH International 2022—a leading transmission and distribution event that draws over 13,500 professionals annually.
The graphics needed to convey a futuristic tone and align with the event tagline: The future of energy is here. It’s digital. It’s disruptive. It’s dynamic. Ready?
SOLUTION
To stay consistent with Deloitte’s visual identity, all imagery was designed using circular formats. Inspired by the tagline, I created four distinct images: three secondary hero images—each representing one part of the message—and one primary hero image combining all three. This modular system allowed for thematic and visual cohesion across deliverables.
OUTCOME
A bold, future-forward visual identity that embodied the spirit of the tagline while remaining true to Deloitte’s brand.

HERO IMAGES
Developed to reflect the tagline “The future of energy is here. It’s digital. It’s disruptive. It’s dynamic. Ready.”
The first secondary hero image features binary numbers to represent digitalization. The second uses glitch lines to illustrate disruption. The third shows a fractured structure symbolizing dynamic energy and decarbonization. The primary hero image combines all three.

STORYBOARD
I conceptualized a short animation and collaborated closely with a motion designer to bring the visuals to life. The animation was displayed in the booth, on LCD screens, and used in social posts.

CREATION PROCESS
I used Photoshop to manipulate and composite multiple stock images into the final result.
