The Future Of Mobility Post-COVID-19 Campaign

The Future Of Mobility Post-COVID-19 Campaign
Marketing Campaign | Graphic Design | Infographic | Layout Design | UI/UX

CLIENT
The Future of Mobility (FoM) is a Deloitte practice that works closely with clients globally to help them succeed and shape the future of mobility.

BRIEF
Deloitte and Salesforce partnered and identified 4 potential scenarios for a post-Covid-19 world which was published in The World Remade by Covid-19 paper. As an extension of this piece, Deloitte explored the potential impacts on key sectors within the FoM ecosystem and published their own report including 4 possible scenarios specific to the future of mobility. The brief requested a campaign to promote the report and the possible scenarios for the future of mobility.

My role as the sole designer on the project was to define the visual identity of the campaign and create supporting assets.

SOLUTION
The campaign’s goal was to entice clients to read the report, and not give away all of the insights on the landing page. After brainstorming as a team, we decided to achieve this by developing copy that would summarize the scenarios and including a downloadable, high-level executive summary along with an infographic.

To illustrate the scenarios, I used line art as this style was central to the FoM’s visual identity.

OUTCOME
A cohesive campaign that strengthens Deloitte’s position in the market as pre-eminent leader in the Future Of Mobility and as a trusted client advisor.

ILLUSTRATION—SCENARIO 1

ILLUSTRATION—SCENARIO 1

This scenario represents the world as we know it with traditional transportation models and lively streets. It is the most positive outcome of the four scenarios hence the sun shining, birds, and trees.

ILLUSTRATION—SCENARIO 2

ILLUSTRATION—SCENARIO 2

This scenario represents potential economic differences. The visuals show people traveling in expensive vehicles while others are lining up, waiting to get on the city bus. This outcome is still fairly positive, so I kept the trees but made the city look more crowded.

ILLUSTRATION—SCENARIO 3

ILLUSTRATION—SCENARIO 3

This scenario represents an imbalance between China and the West, focusing on public health increases, public transit, a reduction in individual auto purchases, and data surveillance. The visuals show public transportation and ambulances. The building sizes are either tall or short, representing the imbalance between the east and west. The sun is rising on the right while the left is cloudy.

ILLUSTRATION—SCENARIO 3

ILLUSTRATION—SCENARIO 3

This scenario represents an isolated environment focused on transportation, logistics, and surveillance. The visuals show a busy street where nobody is walking around or biking. Monitoring technology is everywhere. This scenario is the most negative outcome of the four hence the clouds and darker color.

Because of the project's short timeline and budget, creating the illustrations from scratch was not an option. To solve this, I found appropriate stock images, adjusted the strokes to make them consistent, then arranged them to create cohesive stories.
